Public Services Unit
The Public Services Unit is located in the Faulkner Building at 303 W. 1st St, Tulsa, OK 74103. It is open to the public Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm (excluding holidays).
The Public Services Unit provides a number of services for the public that include:
- Animal Licenses:
• Dog / Cat License $10.00
• Hobbyist – Initial $100.00
• Hobbyist – Renewal $50.00 - Background Checks – $8.00 each
• Authorization For Release of Information - Fingerprinting – $15.00 per card
- Notary Service – $2.00 each
- Passport Photos – $10.00 each
- Concealed Carry License
- License Tag Seizures
A U.S. issued driver’s license or a state issued I.D. is required for all services.
Also, contact the Public Services and Offender Registration Unit about completing an SDA License application (“Concealed Carry License”), about License Tag seizures and Offender registration.
Fee Payment
All fees may be paid by Visa, Mastercard, money order or Cashier’s Check. For Visa and MasterCard credit card payments there will be an additional convenience fee of $1.95 for each transaction. Neither TCSO nor Tulsa County government receives any portion of the convenience fee.
