The Human Resources Unit is unique in its function. The unit has a myriad of responsibilities which include the hiring of all new personnel and handling promotional processes.

Part-time Telecommunicator (911 Dispatcher) - Operates a multi-channel radio console and a multi-line telephone, while maintaining computer aided dispatch systems. Receives, coordinates and disseminates critical information from various sources.

The Personnel department is located in the Faulkner Building and provides our workforce with payroll, benefit and timekeeping services. The group maintains employment and medical files for all employees and volunteers, provides orientation information to new employees and assists with benefits enrollment each year. Public Services Unit
The Public Services Unit is located in the Faulkner Building and it is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 11:00am and from 12:30pm to 4:00pm (excluding holidays).
A U.S. issued driver's license or a state issued I.D. is required for all services.
The Public Services Unit provides a number of services for the public that include:
- Animal Licenses:
- Dog / Cat License $10.00
- Hobbyist - Initial $100.00
Hobbyist - Renewal $50.00
Background Checks - $8.00 each
Fingerprinting - $5.00 per fingerprint card
Notary Service - $2.00 each
- Passport Photos - $10.00 each
Also, contact the Public Services and Offender Registration Unit about completing an SDA License application ("Concealed Carry License"), about License Tag seizures and Offender registration.
Public Services - Fee Payment
All fees may be paid by Visa, Mastercard, money order or Cashier's Check. For Visa and MasterCard credit card payments there will be an additional convenience fee of $1.95 for each transaction. Neither TCSO nor Tulsa County government receives any portion of the convenience fee.
